NORWELL, MA : ZenRidge, a recruiting firm which works with businesses to provide the best talent for their companies, today announced the relocation of its headquarters to 167 Washington Street, Norwell, MA.

The firm was founded in early 2020 by recruiting industry veteran Greg Walsh, a Pembroke resident who spent the previous eight years prior to the launch in the recruiting industry. ZenRidge first opened its doors in the Jack Conway Building in Hanover, near the intersection of Routes 53 and 139. However, a July fire totally destroyed the building and left all of the businesses in that building without office space.

“It was a challenging first few months,” said Walsh, who said that between COVID restrictions and the fire, the year took some unexpected turns. His firm found a new location in Norwell at the Norwell Executive Center.

“We’ve had a great reception here in Norwell by the other businesses here in the Center, as well as great support from our clients in this transition,” Walsh said, adding, “This Norwell-Hanover corridor is a great place to locate a business. It’s close to the highway making access to Boston relatively simple, and being on a main street makes it convenient for clients and candidates who wish to meet with us in person. We are looking forward to a strong close to 2020 and a strong 2021.”

He added, “These are interesting and challenging times for businesses navigating through the consequences of COVID and its effects on their companies. In the IT space in particular, the search for the right talent takes on a heightened importance as more and more companies work remotely and depend on their IT firms to support their home office as well as their corporate networks.” He added, “Our work extends well beyond IT, but regardless of the industry, we partner with our clients to bring the best possible candidates to them for their needs.”

Prior to the launch of ZenRidge, Walsh’s work in the recruiting industry included work on both the corporate and agency side. He helped establish a number of recruiting brands in the Boston market, and was the first recruiter hired at a Greater Boston agency to build a start-up office, which he helped build from pre-revenue to over $1 million in sales. He has been a Senior Technical Recruiter Technical Recruiter and National Account Manager at various points in his recruiting career.

Walsh is a military veteran, having served in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper and having been deployed to Iraq on two separate assignments. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston and is currently completing an MBA program at Babson College.

A native of Plymouth, MA, he currently resides in Pembroke.
