The free health check-up took place for people of all ages in Bangalore to help keep a tab on health conditions

Bangalore : With health concerns increasing in recent times, Altius Hospitals, Bangalore, took a step towards preventing and treating diseases at an early stage. Altius Hospital organized a free health check-up camp at Dr Ambedkar Vidya Kendra ® Marasandra (Bengaluru rural) in PKB Composites PU College, at Doddaballapur today from 11:00 am. Dr. B. Ramesh, Founder of Altius Hospital, led the initiative, with leading paediatrician Dr. Padma Prakash.
From diabetes to hypertension, thyroid, maternity, IVF, arthroscopy and all women-related gynaecological concerns, people undertook a free health check-up at the camp conducted by Altius Hospital. The health check-up involved an array in the diagnosis of specialities including Urogynaecology DHL, myomectomy polypectomy, hysterectomy, radical hysterectomy, orthopaedic and obstetrics under the observation and guidance of doctors. Dr. Saikrishna Naidu (orthopaedic specialist), Dr Raksha Madhu (Gynaecologist & Laparoscopic Surgeon), Dr. Pooja Sahani (Obstetrician & Gynaecologist), Dr Darshana Reddy (Internal Medicine) & Dr. Padma Prakash (Paediatrician).
Speaking on the initiative Mr. B. Ramesh, Founder of Altius Hospital, and Urology Laboratory Laparoscopic Surgeon, said, ‘’Due to negligence and lack of awareness, many children, women and elderly people in our country suffer from diseases which can be cured or avoided with timely treatment.
