DELHI- NCR: In view of the National Road Safety Week commencing from 11th January to 17th January, DPS Indirapuram conducted an informative road safety drive dedicated to educating parents and drivers about the importance of traffic rules and the duties of a responsible driver. The activity highlighted the critical traffic rules and insisted on pedestrian safety and stable driving.
The students of the senior wing of the school emerged as young leaders and took the initiative to raise awareness and promote a sensible display of behaviour by stepping on the roads through engaging interactions. With the help of teachers, students prepared handmade cards and posters with meaningful messages and distributed them among the parents and drivers individually. The initiative turned out to be a huge success, and the students received praise for their impactful contributions.
Expressing her thoughts, Ms. Priya John, Principal, DPS Indirapuram, remarked, “We are thrilled by the enthusiastic participation and commitment of our students and teachers in promoting safety on roads. The Road Safety Drive has taught vital lessons and helped us in creating awareness and shaping a responsible driving community. The students emphasised the importance of such efforts in cultivating a safer community environment. The initiative reflects the values we cherish at our school”.
