
Kochi: Mane Kancor, a global leader in the spice extract market, has strengthened its presence in Kerala with the inauguration of a new office building at its Angamaly factory premises. The 17,000 sq. ft. facility was officially opened by Mane Kancor Chairman Jean M. Mane and is designed with cutting-edge sustainability features. Certified by Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies (EDGE), the office and its adjacent canteen incorporate DGU glass to enhance energy efficiency by reducing heat and minimizing electricity consumption. The new office underscores Mane Kancor’s commitment to eco-friendly and sustainable business practices.
Speaking at the event, Chairman Jean M. Mane highlighted the company’s strategic focus on expanding its production capacity, particularly in the areas of traditional spice manufacturing and advanced ingredients like antioxidants, natural colors, personal care ingredients, a few to name. He emphasized on the adoption of new technologies in the manufacturing process. He reaffirmed Mane Kancor’s dedication to Kerala’s industrial growth, announcing plans for further investments in the state. “This office is not just a building; it represents our vision for a sustainable and innovative future,” Mane stated.
Dr. Geemon Korah, Director and CEO of Mane Kancor, noted that the company has already invested Rs 400 crore in India to enhance production capacities at various locations and expand operations. He emphasized that the new office stands as a testament to Mane Kancor’s core values of sustainability, innovation, and excellence.
Etienne Roland Piegue, Consul General of France in Pondicherry, praised Mane Kancor’s role in fostering strong industrial and commercial ties between India and France. He highlighted the importance of collaboration in business and human resource exchange to strengthen bilateral relations. The occasion had wide representation of industry leaders from various industry bodies like Spices Board, KSIDC, AISEF, CII, FAFAI, TiE Kerala, Angel NeNetwork.
In recognition of these efforts, India and France will jointly celebrate the Year of Innovation next year, promoting corporate partnerships and technological advancements. Piegue invited Chairman Jean M. Mane to participate in the Food Innovation Program planned by the French Consulate, acknowledging Mane Kancor’s potential to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the industry.
