New Delhi : India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Tourism, has announced its financial results for the fiscal year 2024-25, demonstrating a pattern of stable and strategic evolution within India’s dynamic tourism landscape.
With a total turnover of Rs. 587.78 crores, and a Profit After Tax of Rs. 82.94 crores, ITDC once again has showcased steady and consistent growth performance. These figures highlight the corporation’s resilience in an increasingly competitive industry.
Ms. Mugdha Sinha, IAS, Managing Director, ITDC, remarked: “The Corporation’s performance in FY 2024-25 highlights the inherent strengths of ITDC: its diversified product portfolio, operational discipline, and commitment to delivering customer centric solutions. As we continue to evolve with the market forces, our focus remains on setting high standards in hospitality, travel, and tourism services while reinforcing ITDC’s position as a key enabler of the industry.”
A strong pillar of ITDC’s strategic direction has been its entry into emerging tourism segments. The Corporation is now curating high-end experiences to tap into the growing segments such as wedding and MICE. A notable highlight of the year was Ashok Travels & Tours (ATT), the travel Strategic Business Unit (SBU) of ITDC, serving as the official travel partner for Team India at the 2024 Paris Olympics; an achievement that underscored its rising prominence in both national and international travel management.
Further reinforcing its financial credibility, ITDC has been awarded a CARE A1+ rating, the highest for short-term instruments, reflecting its strong liquidity position and sound business fundamentals.
Beyond hospitality and accommodation, ITDC continues to deepen its footprint in event management, tourism-infrastructure development and skill development. The organisation is actively pursuing expansion across all its SBUs ensuring optimal use of resources and sustained operational excellence.
