
Kochi: Marking a major milestone in Kerala’s logistics landscape, Avigna Group has inaugurated its state-of-the-art Industrial and Logistics Park at Puliyanam, Parakkadavu, Angamaly, with an investment of ₹150 crore. The facility was officially inaugurated by Shri P. Rajeev, Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Law & Coir, Government of Kerala.
Speaking at the event, the Minister highlighted the government’s commitment to fostering inclusive growth through industrial expansion. “The government
will extend full support to ensure local skill development for local groups like Kudumbashree so that residents can find employment within their own communities. Our goal is to ensure at least one job for every household. To encourage small enterprises around large industries, the government has amended the rules, allowing up to 50 percent of a house’s area to be used for enterprise, and in the case of vacant houses, to be fully utilised for business purposes,” the Minister said. He further said that, logistics parks like these were ideal for Kerala as they promote growth without pollution.
This marks the first venture of the Chennai-based Avigna Group in Kerala. The Angamaly park, built on 21.35 acres with a built-up area of five lakh square feet, features world-class infrastructure designed to boost Kerala’s logistics ecosystem.

We are proud that global companies such as Amazon, DP World, Flipkart, Reckitt, Sony, and Flyjac Logistics have already begun operations here. The project has created over 1,500 direct and 250 indirect employment opportunities.”
The inaugural function was attended by Benny Behanan MP, Roji M. John MLA, P.A. Najeeb, General Manager, District Industries Centre; Jayadevan S.V., President, Parakkadavu Panchayat; Ancy Tony, Vice President, Parakkadavu Panchayat; Rajamma, Ward Councillor; and Avigna Group directors R. Naveen Manimaran, Binay Jha and Subodh Mishra, COO.
