Gurugram : Lotus Petal Senior Secondary School (LPSSS) in Gurugram hosted Utsah 2025, its annual science and education fair, bringing together creativity, curiosity and hands-on learning from students across LKG to Grade 12. The campus transformed into a vibrant display of models, experiments and artistic expressions, reflecting the school’s commitment to experiential learning.
Vice Principal Kanupriya Mohan, Lotus Petal Senior Secondary School expressed ‘’Utsah is exuberance at its peak. It is a poem written in footsteps, a song sung in giggles and a reminder that every child carries a universe within them. Our students are the poetry that we promise to nurture and the reason Utsah will forever live in our hearts.”
At the Curious Mind Expo, students showcased science projects ranging from automatic hand-sanitiser dispensers and electric circuits to logic-based number games. Senior students presented innovative installations, including a natural air cooler designed for the school building and a Smart AI Dustbin capable of waste detection and segregation, demonstrating thoughtful design and real-world relevance. The Vidyananda pre-primary block added charm with handmade clocks, maths demonstrations, language activities and creative Hindi displays like Swaron ka Bageecha. Social Science exhibits on the Harappan Civilisation, Disaster Management and Marketing Mix stood out for their research and presentation.
Cultural performances, art exhibits and fun game zones added to the festive learning atmosphere. Teachers guided students for weeks to refine their ideas and bring their concepts to life. Principal Srividya Sridhar shared, “Usually, Children’s Day is organised by teachers, who perform for their students. Here at Lotus Petal Foundation, Utsah is living up to its name. The students make meaningful models and bring their thoughts alive through their creativity.”
Families visiting the fair explored the school’s holistic education approach at the admissions desk. Utsah 2025 reaffirmed that learning at LPSSS is more than instruction, it is exploration, discovery and confidence in action.
