Mumbai : Virtual Galaxy Infotech Limited (NSE: VGINFOTECH), a leading provider of hybrid SaaS platforms and enterprise software solutions, has announced a strong financial performance for the half year ended September 30, 2025, alongside a major project win under the World Bank-assisted SMART Project by the Government of Maharashtra.
Robust Half-Yearly Financial Growth
The company reported a net profit of ₹22.02 Cr for H1 FY25-26, compared to ₹19.13 Cr in the corresponding period last year. EBITDA rose to ₹38.82 Cr, up from ₹30.80 Cr last year, with an EBITDA margin of 45.07%.
Revenue for the period saw an impressive 20.28% growth, reaching ₹86.13 Cr. The performance was driven largely by rising demand across the BFSI, ERP and e-governance segments. The BFSI vertical continues to be the company’s largest contributor, accounting for nearly 92% of total business, while other segments are witnessing steady traction.
The Board declared an interim dividend of ₹1 per share (10% of face value) with a record date of November 21, 2025, and approved voluntary quarterly financial disclosures to enhance transparency. Company also approved the purchase of a commercial property at G.T. Arcade, Pune, to support operational efficiency and customer service.
Virtual Galaxy has also seen notable growth in its export business, which currently contributes 11.47% of its total revenue. The company’s expansion into African markets, including Tanzania and Malawi, is expected to accelerate its international growth trajectory.
Major Win Under World Bank-Assisted SMART Project
In a significant development, Virtual Galaxy Infotech announced that it has secured a major contract under the Hon. Balasaheb Thackeray Agribusiness and Rural Transformation (SMART) Project, supported by the World Bank. Awarded by the Project Implementation Unit—Animal Husbandry Department, Government of Maharashtra, the mandate appoints the company as the System Integrator for the department’s digital transformation initiative.
The Company has secured a project valued at ₹4.60 Cr (inclusive of taxes) from the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairy, Government of Maharashtra, covering the design, development, operationalization, and maintenance of an integrated portal, to be completed over 36 months, including 12 months of implementation and 24 months of maintenance and support. Additionally, the Company received a ₹1.40 Cr (ex-GST) contract from the Directorate of Marketing under the SMART Project for establishing a Call Centre and Grievance Redressal Solution, executed on 21st November 2025 and spanning 24 months post go-live, with the tenure extendable based on project requirements.
With this win, Virtual Galaxy Infotech’s total order book now stands at ₹103.44 Cr, comprising ₹93.53 Cr in domestic orders and ₹9.91 Cr in export orders.
