Branch International, a leading NBFC platform, in collaboration with Claylab Education Foundation announced the successful completion of the School of Entrepreneurship program—an initiative designed to foster entrepreneurial thinking and social innovation among students from underserved communities.
As part of its CSR partnership, Branch International extended support in the form of scholarships to 140 students and enabled a residential closing event that included mentorship, networking, and recognition for emerging student entrepreneurs. Through the program, 140 high school students (aged 15–18) from rural regions in Haryana and Uttarakhand designed and executed 39 entrepreneurial micro-projects addressing real-world challenges in their local communities. These student-led ventures created a measurable social footprint, impacting over 390 community members while helping students build essential life and career skills such as leadership, innovation, problem-solving, and ownership.
The collaboration reinforces a shared commitment to:
● Quality Education (UN SDG 4)
● Skill Development (NSDC framework)
● Youth Empowerment and Employability
By combining experiential learning with hands-on mentorship from industry professionals, the program enabled students to develop not only sustainable ideas but also the confidence to execute them.
“Branch’s support in FY 2024-25 for our School of Entrepreneurship 2024 cohort helped us not only bring all our 140 Grade 11 & 12 student leaders from 4 different schools together, but also motivate them to continue to lead their micro ventures, and now these students are together impacting thousands of people through their initiatives. Rewards, sponsored by Branch, in the form of scholarships and a residential learning program, motivated the students to continue and expand the scope and impact of their micro ventures.” said Vivek Kaushik, Director & CEO, Claylab Education Foundation.
“The projects being pursued by these 140 students have been truly inspiring. This program’s goal was about giving them a platform to build real-world solutions. We are incredibly proud of the tangible impact the students have had in their local communities and feel honored to have supported their journey.” said, Neeraj Gupta, MD of Branch India
For Branch International, the partnership reinforced its dedication to building an inclusive and sustainable future by championing youth-led social innovation.
