CCRAS – CARI, Bengaluru in collaboration with IISc and NIMHANS, Bengaluru is organizing International Conference on Ayurveda and Integrative Approaches to Obesity & Metabolic Syndrome on 1st & 2nd December 2025 from 01/12/2025 to 02/12/2025 at A V Rama Rao Auditorium, IISc, Bengaluru.
The conference aims to address the challenges in the management of Metabolic syndrome and Obesity and to explore the integrative approaches for their prevention and management. The conference brings together experts in Ayurveda, conventional medicine and other scientific fields from India and abroad. It is aligning with policy of the central government for promotion of evidence based integrative health approaches.
This program includes Plenary Sessions by invited speakers at A V Rama Rao Auditorium along with Parallel sessions with the presentations from scientists, academicians and PG, PhD on 1st -2nd Dec 2025 , Symposium on “Translational Science and Integrative Medicine Approaches to Management of Type 2 Diabetes, Obesity and Dyslipidemia” and a Workshop on Nanotechnology & Molecular Biology on 2nd Dec. at TCS Smart-X Hub IDR Building , as well as Health screening camp by Samatvam, Pathshodh and CARI on 1st & 2nd Dec. at AV Ram Rao Auditorium and a Pre Conference Virtual Scientific deliberations were held from 25th to 27th Nov 2025.
Dr.Rabinarayan Acharya, Director General, Central Council of Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) reiterated that in an era where metabolic diseases are rising at an alarming pace, impacting public health, productivity, and quality of life, the wisdom of Ayurveda offers a timeless and holistic perspective. This conference aims to bridge traditional Ayurvedic knowledge with contemporary biomedical insights, fostering a dialogue that is evidence-based, innovative, and globally relevant. He opined that the discussions, workshops, and scientific exchanges in this conference will contribute to new frameworks of integrative care, translational research, and global health policy.
