The recognition was conferred after a thorough nomination process, comprehensive jury assessment and a detailed evaluation by industry experts.
WAE was recognized for its leadership in sustainability communication, driven primarily by its comprehensive Brandbook and Success Stories series – two cornerstone publications that reflect the organization’s strategic depth and market influence. The Success Stories series captures high-impact sustainability transformations delivered for leading IT and BFSI enterprises, detailing measurable reductions in carbon footprints achieved through WAE’s advanced water technologies and operational frameworks. Both publications were acknowledged for their analytical clarity, design intelligence and their ability to translate complex sustainability outcomes into compelling, data-backed narratives that resonate with industry, clients and policymakers alike
The award was presented on November 26, 2025 at Hotel Leela Bhartiya City, Bengaluru during the 25th CII Global Design Summit and Exposition 2025.
Regarded as one of India’s most respected recognitions in design excellence, the CII Design Excellence Award celebrates work that demonstrates thoughtful execution, superior craftsmanship and meaningful impact.
