Roorkee : The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has successfully transferred a cutting-edge technology related to Catalytic Hydrothermal Gasification of Organic Liquid Waste for Hydrogen-Rich Gas Production an to INFINATE INTEGRATED ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES LLP, marking a significant step towards sustainable waste-to-energy solutions.
Developed by Prof. Narapureddy Siva Mohan Reddy of IIT Roorkee, the technology is innovative in converting organic liquid waste into hydrogen-rich gas using a continuous catalytic hydrothermal gasification process. The system makes it suitable for scalable and commercial applications in clean energy production.
This technology offers a sustainable solution for waste management, hydrogen recovery, and carbon footprint reduction, aligning with India’s mission to promote renewable and circular economy practices. It enables industries to transform organic effluents and liquid wastes into valuable hydrogen fuel, turning an environmental challenge into a green opportunity.
