New Delhi : Ampcus Cyber, a global leader in cybersecurity, risk management, and digital trust solutions, has expanded into the African market with the opening of its new office in Zimbabwe, marking a significant milestone in strengthening its presence across the continent.
The company has formally launched operations in Zimbabwe and begun onboarding clients, marking a significant milestone in its Africa growth roadmap. This expansion is central to its strategy of establishing a strong presence across high-priority markets in Eastern and Southern Africa. Zimbabwe has been chosen as a strategic hub for its rapidly evolving financial services sector, fast-digitising economy, and its position as a gateway to the broader Southern African region.
Ampcus Cyber’s entry into Zimbabwe offers government agencies, businesses, and critical infrastructure sectors world-class security expertise, AI-driven threat intelligence, and comprehensive cyber resilience services as cybersecurity grows throughout Africa and organisations accelerate digital transformation.
Ampcus Cyber’s Zimbabwe operations will focus on delivering end-to-end cybersecurity services, including threat detection and response, identity and access management, cybersecurity governance, compliance support, data protection, and managed security services.
As part of the expansion, Ampcus Cyber has appointed Mutsa Mabhane as Chief Revenue Officer-Africa, strengthening its leadership presence in the region. Mabhane is widely recognised and respected in Zimbabwe’s cybersecurity ecosystems. She is the only female CISO in the country and was honoured with the CISO of the Year award in 2025. Before joining Ampcus Cyber, she served as the Chief Information Security Officer of the Central Bank of Zimbabwe, bringing deep expertise in security governance, financial sector cybersecurity, and national-level digital risk management.

The company plans to work with universities, industry bodies, and regulated entities to design training programs, certifications, and knowledge-sharing initiatives that grow local cybersecurity skills and leadership. It is also exploring partnerships for capacity building with regulators and sectoral associations across banking, insurance, and telecom.
