In Assam, seven passengers, mostly women and children, feared missing an overloaded country boat that capsized in the Brahmaputra River. The boat was operating between Rahampur and Barhola Chenga in Assam’s Barpeta district today. Rescue operations involving SDRF and fishermen are underway to trace and rescue the missing persons.
