Central Board of Indirect Taxes and CUSTOMS (CBIC) has dismissed a link doing the rounds on social media regarding GST refund.
The link claims that the government has started online processing of GST refund in the wake of COVID- 19 pandemic.
The CBIC has described it as fake and urged taxpayers not to click on any fake link which promises to give refund. It said these are phishing messages and are not sent by CBIC or GSTN.
