Amity University, Greater Noida witnessed a magnificent celebration of entrepreneurial spirit and innovation as it hosted the Enactus India National Exposition 2024 under the esteemed leadership of Director General Prof.(Dr.)Ajay Rana, AUGN. This two-day grand event marked a significant milestone in fostering social entrepreneurship among students across India.
The exposition commenced a month ago in an online mode, featuring various rounds for both early and mature stage projects. The event saw participation from over 250 top-tier universities and colleges across the nation, including prestigious institutions such as IITs, Delhi University, Thapar, St. Xavier’s, NIFT, Motilal Nehru, Lady Shri Ram College, and many more. The top 20 finalists including AUGN team advanced to the offline competition held on July 25th and 26th at Amity University.
The event was a remarkable showcase of the entrepreneurial skills and innovative ideas of the students. The chief guest, Shri Rishi Mohan Bhatnagar, President of Lava International, graced the occasion and inspired the young minds with his words of encouragement. The students of Amity University, Greater Noida, delivered impressive presentations on various ongoing CSR projects at their campus.
Amity University, Greater Noida, was honored with the Best Host Campus recognizing its outstanding contribution to the success of the event. Prof. Dr. Ajay Rana received the Excellence in Leadership & Legacy Award from Dr. Asha Bhatia and Ms. Neha Saini, Country Head of Enactus India, in acknowledgment of his more than 20 years of association with Enactus India, dating back to his tenure as a faculty member.
Dr. Nandita Tripathi, Domain Head of AUGN, was awarded the Best Faculty Coordinator for Enactus India, having taken charge of the AUGN Enactus project as faculty coordinator this year.
