Hyderabad : Glendale Academy, Suncity, Hyderabad, made the city proud by winning six medals at the ISSO Taekwondo National Championship 2025, held at Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School, Mumbai, on 21 and 22 September, 2025. Three students—Rabhya Verma, Aairah Alina Ahmed and Aahil Ayan Ahmed—collectively brought home three gold and three silver medals, showcasing their skill and determination on the national stage.
Rabhya Verma, a Grade 8 student, led the charge with two Gold Medals in the Under-14 category, marking her second consecutive year of double-gold success at the ISSO Games. Her international accomplishments include a Silver Medal at the 2023 Taekwondo Poomsae Championship in Japan, reflecting her dedication and consistency.
Siblings Aairah Alina Ahmed, a Grade 5 student, and Aahil Ayan Ahmed, a Grade 4 student, added to the school’s triumph in the Under-11 category, with Aairah winning one Gold and one Silver Medal and Aahil securing two Silver Medals, reinforcing Glendale’s reputation for nurturing sporting excellence from a young age.
Glendale Academy marked its excellence at the prestigious national-level Taekwondo championship, where just four students from the school won six medals out of 61 competing schools nationwide, earning the school a place among the Top 10 schools in India on the ISSO Achievers Board 2025–26.
