This November, at one of India’s most prestigious ICT industry gatherings, Mr. Sanjiv Krishen, Founder & CMD of Iris Group, was honored with the industry’s most coveted title “IT Man of the Year 2025.”
Hosted by a leading Channel & Enterprise publication at a five-star venue in South Delhi, the ceremony—designed with immaculate grandeur—welcomed an elite audience of OEM leaders, CIOs, CXOs, national distributors, system integrators, VARs, and channel influencers.
Amid a standing ovation, Sanjiv took the stage to receive the award, celebrating a lifetime of leadership, resilience, and transformational impact on India’s ICT distribution ecosystem.
Industry stalwarts applauded him for turning one of ICT distribution’s toughest challenges—credit management—into Iris’s flagship strength. His fairness, clarity of vision, and unwavering partner-first philosophy have redefined how India’s technology distribution operates.
A proud BITS Pilani alumnus, Sanjiv began his career at IBM, where he delivered high-impact solutions, including a milestone project for Dhirubhai Ambani. He later steered Apple’s distribution in the Middle East and was instrumental in introducing India’s first Power Macintosh.

Nearly three decades later, Iris stands tall as a national symbol of trust, transparency, and sustainable partner-led growth—now confidently steering toward a Rs 4,000-crore milestone.

This belief shaped Iris’s flexible financial models, empowering partners to execute high-value deals even in the face of fierce competition. Beyond numbers and milestones, he is admired most for his timeless principle “Do the right thing, it always works.”
While accepting the honor, Mr. Krishen expressed – “My deepest heartfelt gratitude for being bestowed this recognition as IT Man of the Year. It has been a wonderful journey, and I thank the publication house and the industry for this honor.”
