The Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi Awards 2012 have been announced.
Those selected for the awards include Thiruvananthapuram Krishnakumar, Binny Krishnakumar and Dr Vanaja Shankar for Carnatic music, Kalamandalam Subramanian for Kathakali, Dr Rajashree Warrier for Bharatanatyam, Sreedevi Rajan for Mohiniyattam and Ravi Vallathol for Broadcast Drama. 12 artistes were also selected for awards in other disciplines.
The awards carry a citation, a certificate and a cash prize of 7500 rupees.
The awards were announced by the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi Chairman, Surya Krishnamoorthy at Thrissur.
