Sunil: We can not influence all available information in the knowledge graph. Generally the knowledge panel shows basic information such as Profile Picture, Name, Subtitle, Date of Birth, Description and links of Social Media profiles.
But sometimes it may show many other sections like: many photographs, people also search for section, place of birth, organisation founded, spouse, child and sibling. These all depend on the organic ranking of your knowledge panel and the number of people searching your name on the internet.
Basic information can be added by suggesting feedback to the knowledge panel, but other information can’t be suggested because it ranks automatically when Google is confident enough about your publicly available information.
My Knowledge Panel doesn’t appear on desktop devices, why?
Sunil: Sometimes the knowledge panel does not appear on desktop devices but still appears on mobile devices that doesn’t mean your panel is deleted. You just need to claim your panel and add richer information into your panel so that it can rank well on all devices.

Sunil: if you are unable to claim your knowledge panel means you have to provide more information to Google in order to verify your entity. You just need to contact Google with full information.
If you are trying to claim an organization’s panel then you need to produce official documents that prove you are an official representative of the organization. Your name should be mentioned in the organization’s document.
How Can I add Profile picture to my knowledge panel?
Sunil: First you need to claim your knowledge panel to manage it, after that you can add richer information to your knowledge panel.
To add a profile picture just click on “feedback” under the knowledge panel, then click on general feedback, here you can submit a request to add your profile picture. Please ensure you submit the image link ending with .JPG, .JPEG or .PNG (any image extension).
You can also add your social media profiles by suggesting feedback with full social media URLs.
What is “Claim this Knowledge Panel”? and Why should I claim the Knowledge Panel?
Sunil: Claiming your knowledge panel gives you authority to manage that knowledge panel. It means you request Google to give ownership to your Knowledge Panel. If you don’t claim your panel then someone may claim it with their gmail ID, and can show their own information instead of your information.
So it’s always important to claim your knowledge panel so that nobody can get access to it.
