The event, “Oneness: A Light for Humanity,” was a profound tribute to the Sikh Guru’s teachings of love, equality, and selfless service, organized by Let’s Share A Meal. Among the highlights of the evening was the recognition of Harjinder Singh Kukreja and Harkirat Kaur Kukreja, global cultural icons, for their outstanding contributions to the Sikh diaspora and their embodiment of Sikh values in their global outreach.
A Night to Celebrate Sikh Teachings and Philanthropy
The evening was a vibrant blend of spirituality and creativity, spearheaded by Onkar Singh, the visionary behind Let’s Share A Meal, alongside his dedicated team. Their efforts transformed the NJPAC into a space of divine reflection, unity, and artistry.
The night opened with Shivpreet Singh’s soul-stirring rendition of Siddh Gosht, a sacred dialogue by Guru Nanak Dev Ji, followed by Bhai Satvinder Singh and Bhai Harvinder Singh’s kirtan, which uplifted the spirits of the audience. Harshdeep Kaur’s moving recital of the Mool Mantar and her celebrated song “Nanak Aaya” deepened the spiritual connection, while Vilas Nayak’s live painting and Gurbani calligraphy by Hargun Kaur and Simran Kaur added an artistic flair to the event. The nonprofit has been a beacon of hope for underprivileged communities since 2012, organizing langar and other charitable initiatives that have impacted over 100,000 lives globally.

A significant moment of the evening was the honoring of Harjinder Singh Kukreja and Harkirat Kaur Kukreja by Onkar Singh for their exceptional contributions to promoting Sikh values and heritage worldwide.
