Kochi: Nitta Gelatin India Limited (NGIL) has been honoured with this year’s National CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Award instituted by Rotary India.
The company received the award in the ‘Water, Sanitation and Hygiene – Large Enterprise’ category, emerging as the winner from among 563 participating companies across the country. NGIL was recognised for its impactful initiatives, including drinking water projects, programmes supporting the agricultural sector, menstrual cup distribution drives and various other green and sustainability-focused projects.
The award was received by NGIL’s CSR Manager, A.B. Nelson, at a ceremony held in New Delhi.
Earlier this year, Nitta Gelatin had also secured the South Region CSR Award from Rotary India. In addition, the company received the CSR Award in the Environment category instituted by the Kerala Management Association (KMA).
