Noida — Sharika Enterprises Limited is proud to announce that it has been awarded a new contract by IRCON International Limited, a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, for the SCADA Integration System for the operational switchyard of Tunnel T-80 (Tunnel Control Room Banihal), a critical component of the prestigious Udhampur–Srinagar–Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) Project.
Building on Proven Performance in the USBRL Corridor:
Sharika Enterprises has been actively contributing to the power infrastructure of the USBRL project, including its previous work on the Dharam–Banihal Rail Section (Banihal T-80 South Portal). In this earlier phase, we have successfully implemented:
• A 33 kV unmanned switchyard
• Intelligent pole-mounted reclosers
• Solid-insulated switchgear
• End-to-end installation, testing & commissioning
This deployment ensured a reliable and resilient power supply in a remote, high-altitude and unmanned location, demonstrating Sharika’s capability in delivering advanced engineering solutions in challenging terrains.
Now with this new SCADA integration order, we extend our technical footprint. The scope includes Design & Engineering, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning, along with the integration of substation data through an advanced data gateway, industrial-grade communication switches, cybersecurity firewall protection, redundant power systems, surge protection. These activities will be executed by Sharika’s specialised & skilled team.
This project further strengthens Sharika Enterprises’ portfolio in automation, substation integration, and digital power control systems, particularly in critical and high-reliability railway environments such as tunnels and mountainous power transmission zones.
