Siliguri : Specta Quartz Surfaces, India’s leading luxury quartz brand by ARL Group, has consolidated its entry into the North Eastern market through its participation in CONWOO Siliguri 2026, East India’s largest international exhibition on construction, building materials, architecture, and wood innovations. The move signals Specta’s intent to tap into a nascent yet fast-evolving region that is beginning to embrace premium materials and contemporary design sensibilities.
The North East has traditionally remained an underpenetrated market for engineered quartz surfaces. However, with rising exposure to global design trends, increased urbanisation, and a growing appetite for luxury housing and hospitality projects, the region is opening up to high-quality interior materials. Specta expects the eastern region to contribute close to 5% of its overall sales in the initial phase, as awareness and demand for premium quartz surfaces steadily build.
As part of its showcase at CONWOO Siliguri, Specta presented its newly launched X-Ellence Series, which includes ten colours encompassing Specta’s four most popular collections, Maven, Allura, Pastel Poise and Aura. The series brings together multiple quartz shades that balance durability, refined aesthetics, and versatility, making them suitable for residential, commercial, and hospitality applications.
Siliguri’s emergence as the focal point of this expansion is closely linked to its rapid infrastructure development. Investments in road connectivity, air links, and urban planning have significantly improved access to the city, positioning it as a critical gateway to the North East. In parallel, growing investments by private hospitality players, luxury real estate developers, and government-backed infrastructure projects are transforming Siliguri into one of the most promising growth centres in eastern India.
