New Delhi : SPH Aviation, one of India’s leading drone technology and training organisations, is gearing up to demonstrate its indigenously developed Fixed-Wing Kamikaze Drone and High-Altitude Multicopter UAV to the Indian Army at Spiti Valley and the J&K Police at TCIL in the coming weeks. The upcoming demonstrations mark a major milestone in showcasing India’s growing capabilities in indigenous defence drone technology.
Earlier this month, SPH Aviation unveiled five new indigenous drones at Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi, in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana, Shri Nayab Singh Saini Ji, further reinforcing the state’s role in building India’s aerospace innovation ecosystem.
SPH Aviation has also delivered its “Hawk” Training Drones to the 02 MARATHA LI Regiment to support field-level operational training and preparedness.
On the organisation’s mission and progress, Mr. Deep Sihag Sisai, Chairman, SPH Aviation, said: “At SPH Aviation, we are driven by one core vision–to make India self-reliant in defence technology. The dream of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat is not just the vision of our government, but the dream of every Indian innovator and industry leader. We are working day and night to turn this vision into reality and developing world-class indigenous drones that can serve our armed forces with speed, precision, and reliability. This is our commitment to the nation, and we will continue to accelerate our efforts until India leads the world in UAV innovation.”
The company’s research and innovation initiatives are supported by collaborations with IIT Kanpur, IIT Ropar, BECIL, and ITI, enabling advanced R&D, prototype development, and scalable manufacturing.
With a strong foundation as a DGCA-approved drone training organisation, SPH Aviation has trained hundreds of drone pilots across India. Its expansion into tactical UAVs demonstrates India’s rising defence technology capabilities and readiness for deployment by armed forces and security agencies.
