
Kochi: Jithin’s journey to this day has been nothing short of a phoenix rising from the ashes. Jithin K. M., a 34-year-old survivor of the harrowing Chendamangalam triple murder case, walked out on his discharge day, from Aster Medcity leaving behind months of arduous recovery. The situation was very different when he was first rushed into Aster Medcity’s Emergency department four months prior in a near-death condition.
Today against the backdrop of Aster Medcity’s dedicated doctors and the comforting presence of his mother, Jithin stood tall, a recipient of a profound second chance. Beside him stood V. D. Satheeshan, the Opposition Leader graciously shouldered Jithin’s medical expenses. In that moment, Before Jithin’s eyes, a gifted second life stretched out.
Following his admission, Jithin underwent multiple surgical interventions, notably within the neurosurgery department. Subsequently, he required extensive physiotherapy to address significant motor impairment affecting one side of his body.

Satheeshan, while sharing the cake piece with Jithin celebrating the happy moments. It was the coordinated care from Aster Medcity’s Emergency department, Neurosurgery, Anesthesia, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation that brought Jithin back to life.
