New Delhi: Rishihood University, India’s first impact university instituted in Sonepat, Haryana organized its second Convocation on 23rd September, 2023 at its campus. The University conferred degrees to students in undergraduate programs and students in postgraduate programs across courses like M.Design, MBA, PGDPL, BBA and BA Hons. in Education and BA Hons. in Psychology.
The event was graced by Major General Ian Cardozo AVSM SM (retd.), a former Indian Army officer as the Chief Guest. He is the first war-disabled officer of the Indian Army to command a battalion and a brigade and is also incidentally, the first NDA cadet to receive both gold and silver medals.
Also present at the event were Mr. Suresh Prabhu, Co-founder and Chancellor and former cabinet minister and Member of Parliament, Mr. Shobhit Mathur, Vice-Chancellor and, Gayatri Pariwar, Co-founder in addition to other dignitaries.
Expressing his elation while delivering the keynote address, Mr. Shobhit Mathur, Vice-Chancellor Rishihood University said, “I am absolutely delighted at delivering the keynote address at the University’s second convocation and I am extremely proud of the young and bright minds that the University has fostered. It is a very exciting time for students who are passing out from the University. It is now the time to explore, excel and make a positive impact in society. I am sure success and achievements will not be far behind.”

The Convocation Ceremony ended with a Vote of Thanks given by Mr. Ajay Gupta, Bachpan Playschools.
