TEMPE, Ariz — The Rosendin Foundation (TRF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit incorporated, announces that over $330,000 was raised by industry professionals at The 4th Annual TRF Golf Tournament and Auction. The funds will support The Foundation’s grant program, which provides financial assistance to elevate and empower community health initiatives, including veterans’ health, children’s health services, and other community programs. The November 19 fundraiser at The Westin Kierland Golf Course in Scottsdale brought together 33 industry companies and 150 golfers in support of more than 200 nonprofits nationwide, including 17 in Arizona.
A highlight of the tournament was the presentation of a $50,000 grant to Debbie Lee, founder of America’s Mighty Warriors. This nonprofit supports veterans in Arizona and across the country. The grant will provide two veterans and their families with a year of support and resources, including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and Red Light Therapies, to aid in recovery from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI). The $50,000 grant to America’s Mighty Warriors is part of The Foundation’s $253,000 in grants distributed to Arizona nonprofits in November.
“Losing my son Marc, the first Navy SEAL killed in Iraq in 2006, was the hardest thing I could ever imagine, but his tragic loss inspired me to launch America’s Mighty Warriors,” said Debbie Lee, founder of America’s Mighty Warriors. “This $50,000 donation from The Rosendin Foundation allows us to honor his legacy by providing essential support to veterans and Gold Star families.”
The Rosendin Foundation is on track to distribute $2.5 million to nonprofits nationwide in 2025, including $50,000 grants to HomePlate Youth Services in Hillsboro, Song for Charlie in Anaheim, and Assisting Lives in Las Vegas. These top-tier level grants will help each organization expand its programs, serving more people and positively impacting communities.
“Seeing so many people come together in support of our mission is truly inspiring,” said Hank Brasch, President of the Board for The Rosendin Foundation. “Every dollar raised today and donations given year round helps organizations that are driving real impact—uplifting communities, empowering people, and fostering innovation where it matters most. We’re proud to stand alongside our partners and employees to make that difference possible.”
Following the tournament, The Rosendin Foundation recognized presenting sponsors Border States and Sunbelt Rentals, and annual sponsors, including Rosendin, Modular Power Solutions, Milwaukee Tool, and DeWalt, who contribute to the tournament through sponsorships and employee participation.
“Participating in this annual fundraiser goes beyond the game of golf. It’s about fostering real change in the communities where Rosendin and its employees live and work,” said Keith Douglas, Rosendin CEO. “By investing in local nonprofits, we ensure that crucial programs, like those supporting foster children, cancer patients, and sustainable initiatives, receive the support they need to make a lasting impact. We are committed to leading, inspiring, and building stronger communities nationwide, and The Rosendin Foundation allows us to support nonprofit organizations and the people they serve.”
Since 2020, the Foundation has donated over $6.7 million to 500 nonprofits nationwide in communities where Rosendin employees live and work. Grant and emergency grant applications are available on the foundation’s website at https://www.therosendinfoundation.org/grants. Annual grant applications are due June 1 and nonprofits can apply anytime for one-time emergency grants up to $5,000 to help organizations through unforeseen circumstances.
