  • Millennium City to host biggest Shopping Festival of India

    Organized by Haryana Tourism Mart, REDCO Haryana and Gurgaon Administration, Gurgaon Shopping Festival 2010 will provide a fillip to business, transform trade and commerce.

    Gurgaon gets into gear on World Tourism Day – 27th September 2010, for a 36 day long Shopping, Cultural, Entertainment & Adventure Extravaganza, Gurgaon Shopping Festival which will culminate on Haryana Day, November 01, 2010.   The forthcoming Common Wealth Games – 2010 provide an excellent opportunity for Gurgaon to attract visitors from Delhi, NCR, adjoining states as well as international players, investors, tourists, delegates and media.  

    Organized by Haryana Tourism Mart, REDCO Haryana and Gurgaon Administration, Gurgaon Shopping Festival 2010 will provide a fillip to business, transform trade, commerce and realty through a heady cocktail of culture, heritage, food, music, fashion, shopping and complete family entertainment.

    Already famed as a magical city, GSF 2010 will add more glitter and glamour to Gurgaon which is a soul city destined to win hearts and minds through this experience and showcase the rich heritage and culture of Haryana to visitors. Replete with entertainment and consumer engagement activities, GSF will bring Gurgaon alive.        

    Objectives of GSF 2010  

    1.   To promote Gurgaon as India’s millennium city on the threshold of becoming a global, business and leisure hub.

    2.   To  unveil the best shopping deals of ‘Brand Gurgaon’ from a wide range of national and international brands

    3.   To showcase the rich cultural heritage of India through “The Indian Rendezvous” – Entertainment & Cultural Extravaganza, first of its kind “Street Carnival”, handicrafts and cuisines from different parts of the country.

    4.   To expose the youth and corporate of Gurgaon & NCR to “Adventure Sports” never seen before and “Auto Mall – India’s Largest Multicity Automobile Exhibition.”

    Additionally, it will do the following

    a.   Explore the evolution of Gurgaon and promote tourism and the culture heritage for the State of Haryana establishing it as a tourist destination

    b.   Engage and Entertain the NCR population, international tourists during their stay in Delhi/NCR

    d.   Increase footfalls and maximize spends; Energize the retail economy

    e.   Fulfill Social Responsibility
