MCLEAN, Va. and NOUMEA, New Caledonia – Hilton Worldwide today announced the introduction of the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand into New Caledonia with the signing of a franchise agreement with GLP Hotels New Caledonia and the opening of Hilton Noumea La Promenade Residences. Hilton Noumea La Promenade Residences features 154 spacious and modern, self-catering apartments, that offer uninterrupted water views over the New Caledonia lagoon, which is listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO.

The three tower Hilton Noumea La Promenade Residences is located on Anse Vata Beach in the centre of the main tourism and accommodation district in Noumea and is an ideal choice for both business and leisure travellers. The hotel’s 154 apartments range from King Studios to one, two and three-bedroom apartments – all of which come equipped with a kitchen and laundry.

The hotel will open with a newly renovated main entrance and lobby area which will include a dedicated Hilton HHonors desk, as well as a library and a spacious and welcoming lounge area. Facilities at the hotel include a heated swimming pool, restaurant serving Pacific Rim cuisine, a business centre, gym and wellbeing centre for women.

A glass-walled chapel located in the gardens of the hotel with panoramic views over Anse Vata Bay has recently been inaugurated for intimate and unforgettable wedding celebrations. Numerous boutiques, cafés and tourist attractions are within walking distance of the hotel.

Business guests and conference delegates can plan their meetings in the conference room located on the first floor of the hotel, or for larger groups, at the conference facilities located at the hotel’s sister property.

As a participant in the Hilton HHonors guest loyalty programme, the hotel will offer guests the ability to earn and redeem Hilton HHonors points. Gold and Diamond HHonors members will receive complimentary WIFI connection in their rooms and complimentary room upgrade subject to availability.
