Security Brigade’s CEO in Top 5 of Global Student Entrepreneur Awards

Jharkhand : India’s Student Entrepreneur Vineet Kumar, Founder & CEO of Security Brigade and Chairman of National Anti-Hacking Group stands one among the Top 5 Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA),2010 held at Kansas City, USA. 21 years old, Vineet currently is a student at Sikkim Manipal University, Gangtok
GSEA is a program of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and the premier competition for students taking a full course load of classes while running a revenue-generating business.
He was chosen from 2000 student entrepreneurs from 44 countries; and earlier this year, he was picked as the Indian Champion by GSEA. This Year the sponsors for GSEA were NewYork Stock Exchange, Kauffman foundation, Google, Sprint, Ernst & Young, Starbucks Coffee, FedEx
As a Indian Champion Entrepreneur, Security Brigade’s CEO, Vineet Kumar was invited to attended the GSEA Global Finals 2010 on November 17 to 19 in Kansas City, Missouri, where he presented his business to an international panel of entrepreneurs, renowned journalists and business luminaries who support the endeavors of young student business owners around the world.
Security Brigade’s CEO has received around 5 International Awards, 11 National Awards & many State Level Awards. He is also the receipient of United Nation Youth Assembly’s Youth Achievement Award 2008 which was given to him for actively contributing in Millennium Development Goals of UN at UN HQ, NewYork in 2008. He has also received Guest Lecture Invites from IIT Bombay, NIT, Vellore Institute of Technology, College of Millitary Engineering, BITS Pilani, BIT Mesra, Indian Army, Police, Govt. Of India & Serveral other institutions.
What attracted the judges the most was the fact that Vineet hailing from a small town, Ranchi could reach so far despite all hurdles and without any support from the Government / non Government organizations / any VC firms along with the fact that Vineet has been socially very active and strongly wishes to do something for the society.
The CEO was also appreciated by Steve Elfman, President of Sprint on his visit to the Sprint World Headquarters at Kansas City.
