Hyderabad: Hyderabad Runners conducted their 2nd edition ChildRUN, with over 600+ kids at Telangana State Forest Academy, This group also included 40 primary school kids from the Filmnagar Basti Govt school. ChildRUN is the Graduation Run and conclusion of an 8weeks Outdoor Kids Summer Program cross 16 locations. Nearly 300 parents joined for this Graduation Run with lot of fun activities & family bonding time. The ChildRUN is organized by ReaCH, actively supported by Hyderabad Runners & Telangana Forest Department.

ReaCH, powered and supported by Hyderabad Runners stands for Recreation and Child Health. ReaCH is a social initiative that emphasises the need to educate and sensitize children and adults about the importance of physical activity from an early age. ChildRUN is a school-based programme that promotes running and finding effective ways to get children and young adults stay active.  

Outdoor Kids is an out-of-school programme that introduces running as a form of physical activity in a structured fashion among children. It is a volunteer-driven initiative that aims to improve learning and health through community involvement, family engagement, and creating a conducive environment for children to stay physically active.

The kids enjoyed the warm up and cold own sessions along with the sumptuous breakfast while proudly display my their beautifully sculpted medal hugging them, congratulating them on their achievement.
