  • Under 25 Summit ’19 Line-Up & ‘Dear Obama’ campaign aiming to invite Mr. Barack Obama to India

    Bangalore : We at Under 25 have always aspired to be the voice of the creative youth and through the Under 25 Summit ’19, we want to take a step closer. For our dream of a better future, we feel that the gap between generations is something that needs to be bridged right now. The main flagship property of the company is the ‘Under 25 Summit’, which is India’s Largest Youth Festival. The Summit has taken place in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad and has collectively witnessed over 30,000 people in 5 years.

    Across 2 Days, the Under 25 Summit ’19 will have multiple specifically curated workshops and experience zones with 80+ speakers for more than 15,000 attendees. This year, we wanted to be more inclusive of our ever-growing community and decided to host a few select members from our community atKoramangala Social, on the 11th of December, 2018.

    This year, we aim to catapult the standard through the roof by inviting former US president, Mr. Barack Obama as the keynote speaker for the Summit. We believe Mr. Barack Obama is the perfect individual to ambassador this goal of ours and this is exactly why we need him here in India. This will be done through a viral online campaign called ‘Dear Obama’.

    ‘Dear Obama’ is an open letter from the youngsters across India to Mr. Barack Obama in the form of a video. This video visually and verbally illustrates the multiple reasons why the youth of India needs Mr. Obama to come to India. ‘Dear Obama’ includes hundreds of bytes from the creative youth including top influencers from across the country. The movement is represented using the #ObamaForKeynote. With the video and this hashtag, we aim to hit millions of impressions across the world on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube.

    The ‘Line-Up Launch Party’ invited those who have bought their early bird passes to the Under 25 Summit 2019. The party aims to allow attendees and crew members to mingle with one another. The highlight of the party was that Team Under 25 will officially announce the first phase of speakers at the Under 25 Summit along with the official launch of ‘Dear Obama’ – A social media campaign by the youth of India to bring former US president Mr. Barack Obama down to India as the keynote speaker at the Under 25 Summit. The first set of speakers at the Under 25 Summit, 2019, are the following:

    Prajakta Koli: Prajakta Koli is a YouTuber and Comedian who is popularly known as ‘MostlySane’

    Rega Jha: Rega Jha is the Founder and ex-editor-in-chief of BuzzFeed India.

    Abish Mathew: Abish Mathew is a stand-up comedian who is most popularly known as the host of ‘Son of Abish’ – A comedy talk show.

    JordIndian: Vineeth Naser form the JordIndian, who create comedy sketches and were a part of this year’s YouTube Rewind.

    Mumbiker Nikhil: Nikhil is a vlogger who documents his travels across the country and a YouTube sensation with over 2 Million subscribers to his name.

    Bruised Passports: Savi and Vid are also known as ‘Bruised Passports’. They are a Travel Duo who’ve documented their travels to over 80+ countries.

    Shivesh Bhatia: 
    Shivesh Bhatia is a self-taught baker, food blogger and author of the book ‘Bake With Shivesh’. 

    Amandeep Singh: Amandeep Singh is a well-known storyteller and poet across India who has also performed at Jashn-e-Rekhta, which is the biggest Urdu festival in the world.

    BeYouNick: 
    Nick is a popular YouTuber who does a variety of comedy sketches.

    Auditya Venkatesh: Auditya Venkatesh is a self-taught photographer who is well-known as ‘Audi Photography’ on social media. He travels across the world and also works on films as a D.O.P.

    The Under 25 Summit will be held at the Jayamahal Palace, Bangalore on the 2nd & 3rd of February, 2019 from 9 AM to 9 PM on both days.
