SCHAUMBURG, IL, : Pulse Technology (http://pulsetechnology.com)  employees will make a Schaumburg area family’s Christmas season a little brighter this year, through their work with the Schaumburg Township’s Adopt-a-Family program.

The Pulse team adopted a family which included a mother and four children, ages 8, 10, 14 and 15.

Melanie Schmidt, Marketing Specialist at Pulse, said that they received a “wish list” for each of the family members, and Pulse team members signed up for what they wanted to contribute. “Chip and Terry (Miceli) provided wrapping supplies at the office, and we all brought the gifts there to wrap and put under our Christmas trees.” The company purchased a variety of gifts for the family including clothing, shoes, coats, toys, dishes and bath towels.

She added, “It was a great experience to see the company come together to provide this family with gifts to make their holiday season special! I am proud to be part of a company that puts so much value on family, as a family owned business itself.”

Chip Miceli, president of Pulse Technology, said, “We’re very pleased with the team effort that brought this together. The holiday season is a time when we can all pause and be grateful for what we have, and it’s also a time to help our neighbors in need. We like the work that Adopt-a-Family does and hope many organizations support their efforts this year.”
