Kochi : Aster Medcity announced the commencement of the 2nd edition of ‘EmerGenz- 2023,’ the highly anticipated Aster International Emergency Medicine Conclave. The event is scheduled to take place from June 16 to 18, at Nihara Resort, Kochi. The conclave will be inaugurated by Padma Shri Dr. Prakash Baba Amte, Magsaysay Award winner (2008), Social worker from Maharashtra. Honoring the memory of Dr. Vandana Das, Aster EM (Emergency Medicine) Network also stands in solidarity with healthcare professionals across India. In her remembrance, the team  join hands, extend support, and stand united with the frontline workers in their noble endeavor to heal the people.

This time the Conclave focus on strengthening the foundation of knowledge in emergency medicine through case-based discussions and discussing various symptomatology. As the conference progresses, expert faculties from different parts of the country & abroad will shed light on evidence-based practice in various emergencies. The conference will benefit medical professionals who work in critical care areas like the ED, ICU, and ambulances or run their departments and OPDs, etc.  The conclave will also witness various competitions and Oral presentations and Scenario based discussions.

Among many other firsts, the network was also the first in India to do successful eCPR, ED Thoracotomy, and long-distance IABP transfer, to name a few.
