New Delhi:  Carrier Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Limited (Carrier India) has introduced its new product line of energy efficient air conditioners for the Indian market, including the X-Power Gold, Durakool Star Premium hi-wall and Estrella range of hi-wall air conditioners, Toshiba range of Super Modular Multi System (SMMSi) air conditioners and Carrier’s AquaThrust 30XA chiller. X-Power Gold inverter high-walls combine inverter technology, reliability and extraordinary end user benefits. The X-Power DC inverter compressor’s high efficiency results in significant energy savings, lowering electricity bills so that consumers can save with Carrier all year around. Its advanced electronic management system reduces energy consumption by up to 20 percent when compared with traditional systems. It offers a superior coefficient of performance (COP), ranging from 3.21 to 3.31. The feature packed remote allows for 11 steps of controlled airflow and distributes air evenly around the room. The use of Nano Silver technology in the Carrier X-Power Gold Inverter helps purify the indoor air, making the environment cleaner and healthier.

Carrier India has also launched Durakool Star Premium and Estrella range of hi-wall air conditioners. These products have been rated between 4 and 5 stars under the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) rating system. Both the ranges are available in 1Tr, 1.5Tr and 2Tr capacity.

The Durakool Star Premium has a decorative flat panel indoor unit and comes with a hydrophilic coated evaporator coil, which increases efficiency. The advanced washable dust filter makes the indoor air dust and odour free as the electrostatic fiber filters trap dust

particles, smoke and fur. The unit also purifies the air by eliminating ammonia and other harmful chemical gases. The advance dry mode eliminates air moisture, resulting in a room that is dry and fresh at just the touch of a button, making Durakool Star Premium the right choice for hot and humid seasons.

The Estrella range of hi-wall air conditioners is Carrier India’s latest innovation in style and luxury. With the Estrella range, consumers make a stylish lifestyle statement and reduce the impact on the environment while enjoying remarkable comfort. The entire range is five star rated and has a robust rotary compressor designed to perform even under extreme climatic conditions. Powered with cutting-edge cooling technologies, these unique air conditioners use non-ozone depleting R410a refrigerant. The energy efficient Estrella range comes with an Active Carbon Electrostatic Fiber Filter that deodorizes odours, absorbs poisonous gas, and removes small dust particles, providing clean indoor air. These chillers offer energy efficiency, along with flexibility of use, compact size, and the most reliable technologies available today. The AquaThrust 30XA meets requirements for the Bureau of Energy Efficiency’s Energy Conservation Building Code.
