Chennai : Danfoss Industries Private Limited, a leader in mechanical and electronic components and solutions, today announced the appointment of Noel Ryan as President of Danfoss India. Having been with Danfoss since 1997, an important aspect of Noel’s new role will be to establish support to the group’s growth and also ensure the companies continued expansion in the country.

“I am delighted to take on this responsibility within Danfoss.” said Mr Noel Ryan “I look forward to working with the company to drive growth and expansion whilst reinforcing the high value and credibility Danfoss is synonymous with.”

Noel Ryan was previously Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing, responsible for refrigeration sales globally, he will continue this role alongside his new position as President of Danfoss India. Formerly he was heading the global sales in Danfoss Industrial Automation, and prior to that he was based in China heading up the Asia Pacific Region. Noel holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA.

Danfoss opened its first office in India in 1998 and has since then grown to include 350 employees of which 150 work for Sauer-Danfoss. Going forward, Danfoss has a well outlined roadmap for India and aims to continue this expansion through increased sales, manufacturing and product development, as well as by keeping its customers in focus every step on the way.
