Mumbai : India’s leading food and lifestyle channel, Living Foodz hosted Food Fiesta, a culinary extravaganza at Infiniti Mall in Mumbai. The unique celebration of food gave the Mumbaikars a chance to interact with Celebrity Chefs Rakhee Vaswani and Pankaj Bhadouria and experience a masterclass where they whipped-up delicious recipes!

Commenting on her experience in Mumbai, Chef Rakhee Vaswani says, “After a wonderful experience in Ahmedabad, I was delighted to bring Food Fiesta to my home-town, Mumbai. Right from scrumptious street food such as Vada Pav to fine dine restaurants, the city offers an eclectic mix of food for every palate. The contestants at the cook-off were extremely innovative with their dishes and we were amazed by their culinary skills. Chef Pankaj and I had a great time connecting with our viewers and celebrating our love for food with them.”

Living Foodz asked viewers to submit their signature recipes on www.livingfoodz.com and 15 lucky winners got a chance to participate in a cook-off  and present their culinary skills to Chef Rakhee and Pankaj at the event.

“This was the first time that I got the opportunity to host Food Fiesta in the city of Mumbai. This city is one of the most promising culinary destinations in India, with a constantly  evolving food landscape. In keeping with my show Health in 100, which promotes nutritious and delectable meals, I decided to demonstrate two wholesome recipes at the event: Granola Bar and Potato Gnocchi é Zucchini Ribbons with Cherry Tomatoes in a Burnt Butter and Walnut Sauce. The response from our fans in Mumbai was extremely heartening and I hope to bring this experience to other cities in India as well”,  added Chef Pankaj Bhadouria.

Neha Sanap, the winner of Food Fiesta Mumbai will get the prestigious opportunity to be featured on Living Foodz and appear on the silver screen with one of the chefs from the channel.
