Bangalore : The fifth season of Inorbit Mall’s Pink Power has garnered tremendous response. This year Inorbit received 2403 entries by women entrepreneurs with some unique existing businesses. The campaign that was launched on Womens Day, was promoted digitally for a span of 45 days and has received a lot of unique and exciting entries. Pink Power welcomed entries from Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Vadodara. Some of the most innovative businesses across categories like Fashion, apparel, food and Handicrafts are the major highlights of this year. As a next step, the selected entries will undergo a multi-step screening process and will be evaluated by a panel of judges. Inorbit will be announcing the winners by 1^st week of June. Winner from each location will be rewarded a free kiosk space at Inorbit for a period of 9 months.

The initiative encourages women entrepreneurs to extend their business inside a shopping mall for a period of 9 months where they can experience retailing inside a modern and organized environment. Pink Power has emerged as one of the popular campaigns that has received recognition at some of the prestigious award forums like Asia Shopping Centre Awards 2017, ABBYs, EFFIEs and DMA Asia Awards. The initiative not only offers them a space to run their business but also gives the winners an opportunity to attend a mentorship session by Anita Dongre, Indian fashion designer and the founder of distinct brands like AND & Global Desi.
