    AmarnathAmid rain, the third batch of 2,370 pilgrims leave for the holy Shri Amarnath Cave Shrine in South Kashmir from ‘Yatri Niwas’ at Bhagwati Nagar base camp.

    Yatra continues despite bad weather.

    Third batch of pilgrims today left for holy Amarnath Yatra from Jammu base camp.

    The batch comprising 2,370 pilgrims left from Bhagwati Nagar base camp to the cave shrine early this morning amid tight security.

    So far, 7,806 pilgrims have left the Jammu base camp for their onward journey to the holy cave in the Himalayan range.

    The annual Amarnath Yatra halted at Pahalgam due to bad weather as Pilgrims started their journey for the 3880-metre-high cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas on Friday.

    Pilgrims started their journey amid tight security, from both Baltal and Pahalgam base camps.

    About 600 unregistered yatris protested at Nunwan Pahalgam base camp after they were not allowed to proceed towards the Holy Amarnath cave shrine on Friday.
