  • The city of Negril is loved by vacationers worldwide for its picture perfect beaches, breathtaking sunsets, rugged cliffs and audacious activities. Negril is famously known as the ‘Capital of Casual’ due to the easy going atmosphere in the city.     Take a plunge at Rick’s Café: Jamaica’s most famous hot spot, resting at the top of a cliff, Rick’s Café have some of the best sunset views.     Scuba Diving and Snorkeling: For all scuba enthusiasts, Negril is an excellent destination. The city has some of the finest diving sities and Negril Scuba Centre is the best place to start. The underwater videographers are available to capture your experience to create lasting memories of your dive.  Other than scuba diving, snorkeling in emerald waters is another popular activity. Negril’s waters have a variety of caves, coves, living coral reefs and exotic fishes to explore.

    Experience the thrills at Kool Runnings Water Park: Situated at a walking distance from many major hotels in the area, Kool Runnings Water Park provides an exciting and fun-filled experience for all ages. The park is home to some amazing water slides, interactive play area for toddlers and some theme restaurants to enjoy. Kool Runnings Water Park is a must visit for all adventure seekers.

    Negril Lighthouse: One of the most beautiful monuments of Negril, the Negril Lighthouse is a treat for history lovers. Built in 1894, the lighthouse stands 20 meters tall and is an amazing vantage point of the coast. Originally powered by kerosene, the lighthouse switched to solar power in 1985 and flashes every two seconds. One can still climb 103 steps of the lighthouse to get an unparalleled view of the sunset.

    Seven Mile Beach: Among the best beaches of Jamaica, Negril’s Seven Mile Beach boasts turquoise, see-through waters hugging the coastline with white sand that seems to trail on forever. Ideal for sun-worshippers, the beach also has a number of water sports activities to enjoy.
