Oil rose in Asian trade, today, on expectations that an improving US economy will lead to higher demand for crude.
New York’s main contract, light sweet crude for February delivery, rose 9 cents, to 91.47 per barrel. Brent North Sea crude for February rose 5 cents, to 94.80 dollars a barrel.
