  • COLORS develops LIVE music events property ‘Suron Ke Rang – COLORS Ke Sang’

    Mumbai: COLORS today announced the creation of unique musical property focusing on developing a string of LIVE music events called ‘Suron Ke Rang’catering to its music-loving viewers. The first concert will celebrate the illustrious life and the works of the Raj nayakman behind the establishment and the solid standing of T-Series in the Indian Film Industry today – Shri Gulshan Kumar. This first-of-its-kind association with Bollywood music giant will bring together over 40 musical stalwarts, 60 popular and unique compositions across three decades to launch the ‘Suron Ke Rang – Salaam Shri Gulshan Kumar’ tribute concert. With names like AR Rahman, Shankar Mahadevan, Anuradha Paudwal, Mika Singh, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Himesh Reshammiya, Shaan, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Abhijeet, Anup Jalota, Sapna Mukherjee composers like Pritam Chakarborty, Raju Singh along with new age sensations like Tulsi Kumar, Mithoon, Benny Dayal, Ankit Tiwari, Meet Bros, Akriti Kakkar, Amaal & Armaan Malik and DJ Chetas will all come together for a soulful and visually appealing musical evening while paying homage to late Shri Gulshan Kumar. Guest host Sonu Nigam and spirited Ayushmann Khurrana, Will be the hosts for the evening. Conceptualized and produced by Kickstart Entertainment this grand musical extravaganza will be held in Mumbai on 22nd September and will air on COLORS later this year.

    The first Concert, a tribute to Late Gulshan Kumar, will witness the participation of stalwarts from the world of Indian music as they come together to salute the magnificence that was Gulshan Kumar and recreate some of the best longstanding T-Series ballads which have marked the brand’s success over the past three decades. ‘Suron Ke Rang – Salaam Shri Gulshan Kumar’ will showcase performances across genres showcasing the growth of Indian film music – from romantic films songs and spiritual bhajans, to foot tapping remixes, party hits, new-age Bollywood songs and unplugged EDM versions that have become a rage today, the concert will celebrate the coming to age of the Indian music industry.

Keeping in mind the rapidly developing Indian music industry, ‘Suron Ke Rang – COLORS Ke Sang’ series will cater to the music-lovers. ‘Suron Ke Rang’ will celebrate the world of Indian music through multiple concerts and the first tribute concert will recognize the accomplishments of T-Series over the past three decades and celebrate the path breaking music created across genres which has entertained Indian music lovers globally. The concert will air on COLORS later this year.
