    In the ICC Cricket World Cup, Bangladesh beat West Indies by 7 wickets in a league match at Taunton, England. Bangladesh achieved the victory target of 322 runs for 3 wickets in just 41.3 overs.

    For Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan was the highest scorer with 124 not out while Liton Das was also unbeaten at 94.

    Earlier, put into bat, West Indies scored 321 for 8 in the stipulated 50 overs.

    Bangladesh remained in the reckoning for a semifinal spot with five points from five matches while the West Indies will get tougher for a place in the last four as they now have three points from five matches.

    England will take on Afghanistan at Manchester today.
