  • EASTON, MA: Elevate Counseling Services  (https://www.elevate-counseling.com), a growing practice serving the needs of clients from locations in South Easton, Middleboro and Bellingham, has promoted Carrie Stone of Norton, MA to the position of Director of Clinical Operations.

In this role, she will work with Elevate Counseling CEO Leigh-Ann Larson to oversee and implement clinical procedures which continue to assure the highest standards of delivery of services to the growing practice’s clients, and to support the needs of the practice’s clinicians. Stone, who also maintains her own client caseload, will continue to work with clients individually as well.

Stone joined Elevate Counseling Services nearly five years ago, first as a clinician, and was soon promoted to Associate Director, where she provided clinical supervision to staff, and then Assistant Director. In her new and expanded role, her responsibilities will include training new staff, and developing training materials. She has been an integral part of converting the practice’s training procedures to a virtual platform.

Prior to joining Elevate she spent a decade at Riverside Community Care in Norwood, and several years at a private practice in Mansfield, MA. Stone is a native of Maine, but spent a number of years in Iowa, earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. She came to Massachusetts for her graduate studies, and earned a Masters’ Degree at Antioch University of New England in Keene, NH.

Her areas of specialization have included work with adolescents, infertility, post partum, special needs parenting, and Christian counseling. She has held the LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) designation since 2011.

She and her husband are active members of their Church, The Fellowship in Easton, MA. She is a strong supporter of local theatre; their children perform in a local theatre group. In her spare time she enjoys attending Broadway shows when she can.

Leigh-Ann Larson, CEO of Elevate Counseling Services, said, “Carrie is an outstanding counselor and an integral part of our practice. We are pleased that she will fill the important role of Director of Clinical Operations as our practice continues to expand.”
