  • Rajat Choudhary is an Established International Volleyball Player Representing India in the sport

    Rajat Choudhary is a big name when it comes to the sports Volleyball in India. He comes from a small town Roorkee from the Indian state – Uttarakhand of a family of farmers. He was born on 11th April 1996 in Roorkee and was brought up playing different sports but was more keen in Volleyball. He started playing from 6th Standard at the age of 11. In 2007, he took admission in the Maharana Pratap Sports College, New Delhi to shape his volleyball skills. His first participation at the national level came in 2009 for the Under 14 tournament.  


    Soon he got a good recognition in this field when he started playing for Sport Authority of India at the national level. His exceptional talent in volleyball made him appear over the pedestal of success allowing him to soon escalate at the national level. With his extraordinary skills in the sports, he got the chance to represent his country in an international event called Asian School Volleyball Championships Thailand 2014. It was a big event in his life, which turned the table for him making a national hero. Since then it was no looking back for this young man. He then participated in the national sporting event – Youth national 2015 bagging the Gold Medal from the same. 


    All the years – 2015 to 2018, he kept on participating in different volleyball tournaments at the National Level.  He joined railways in 2016 in the sports quota while he joined its team in 2019. In this very year, he bagged the silver medal at the 68th Senior National Level tournament thus making his organization feel proud by his achievements. The year 2020 brought a bronze medal for the young man in the Federation Cup, while he has now entered the senior league of players emerging as a competent player in Volleyball. Currently, he is practicing for his upcoming Federation Cup at the National Level to be held this year in 2021.–
