Product of the Year is one of the highest recognitions for a consumer brand as it seeks to celebrate, champion and reward the best innovations in Retail products done through an independent survey across the country touching 18,000 consumers in 23 cities.

The award winning water heaters constitute A.O. Smith’s special range of heaters that are highly energy efficient with BEE 5 star rating. Both the water heaters feature tanks lined with the Company’s exclusive Blue Diamond glass that helps extended product life span. This innovative technology offers excellent protection against hard water and corrosion. The wired remote controller displays the temperature and the total energy consumed by the water heater.

Aesthetically, the product is made more appealing by introducing changeable front panels to suit the bathroom design and colour.

Alternatively, the water heaters are also fitted with additional features like temperature control where the temperature can be precisely set between 25°C to 75°C and a display of the total energy consumed by the water heater. Other key features of the water heater include a  safety valve that is designed to automatically relieve and discharge water in case the pressure or temperature overshoots the pre-set limits and a thermal cut out that rapidly cuts off the live line and the neutral line simultaneously to assure safety in case of extreme temperature variation due to an error .
