    visits the First Pizza Vito Franchise store, Gurgaon for the first time to give away the Best Franchise Award for 2012 here today. PizzaVito, a US based chain of Pizzerias started by an Italian Mr. Vito Dibartolo in 1966. It became a Franchise in 2008 and thereafter inked a deal with Mr. Abhinav Bindra, the Olympic Gold Medalist & World Champion in Air Rifle Shooting, for entire Asia. The brand now owned and led by Mr. Bindra is all set to expand pan-India with a host of corporate stores & franchise associations.

    “The pizza industry is about Rs 1300 crore with 1200 branded Pizza Outlets, growing on par with the fast food industry at a healthy 25-30%. The category is still in the growth stage and the country can take about 1000 more stores in next 10-years, we plan to garner a large share of the pie by setting up corporate stores & Franchisee association. The company has mega plans to introduce Pizza Vito to other Asian countries such as Kuwait, the UAE, Malaysia, Singapore. ” said Dr. Bindra Chairman of PizzaVito Asia.
