  • AC/DC Live at Donington Concert on BIG CBS SPARK on 12th May

    Mumbai : BIG CBS SPARK, the ultimate music destination from the Reliance Broadcast Network and CBS Studios International joint venture, will premiere the legendary Australian band AC/DC, Live at Donington for the first time to India. The three part series of the famous concert at Donington Park in the U.K, will premiere on May 12, at 8 p.m, on the show SPARKLIVEWIRE – the one stop station for all concerts of the biggest artists and bands. As the ‘Artist of the month’ on BIG CBS SPARK, viewers will experience the best of rock ‘n’ roll, straight in to their living rooms!

    AC/DC is back and it will be exclusively about the music once again! This is a show that won’t under any circumstances disappoint. Known for heavy metal sound, ‘AC/DC Live at Donington’ concert, has taken its audience by storm and the excitement will rub off on viewers of BIG CBS SPARK. The fast-paced show saw 72,500spectators head banging to the band’s tracks. AC/DC made the crowd roar with their songs like ‘Shoot to Thrill’, ‘Back in Black’, ‘Fire your Guns’, ‘Highway to Hell’, ‘Thunderstruck’, ’High Voltage‘ and ‘You Shook Me All Night Long‘ to name a few.

    Formed in 1973 by Brothers Angus and Malcolm Young, AC/DC released two albums in Australia before releasing their first international effort, High Voltage. Since 1974, AC/DC have released 14studio albums worldwide, four albums issued in Australia, two compilations released as soundtracks, three live recordings, 12 video collections of concerts and music videos, and two box sets. In 36 years of their career, the band has sold over 200 million albums worldwide. Back in Black alone sold 49 million worldwide, and is the third bestselling album globally. The band was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.

    This programming initiative is in sync with Reliance Broadcast Network’s recent campaign called ‘Choose Your Set-Top-Box Wisely’. The campaign was designed to increase awareness and empower consumers with adequate information to make the right choice when choosing their set top boxes, while at the same time, enabling operators to build their brand equity.
