One of India’s most favorite campus dramas – Hostel Daze is all set to return with Season 2 on Amazon Prime Original this week. Keeping the anticipation and excitement high among the fans, the cast and creators of the mini-series are making all the right noises for keeping the enthusiasm alive among the viewers. With just a few days to go, Ankit and Akansha – the two seniors in the comedy drama – played by Adarsh Gourav and Ahsaas Channa respectively, share their excitement working with the new directors of this series, Amir Musanna and Sangram Naiksatam, and reveal how they created magic on the sets of Hostel Daze Season 2. 

Adarsh Gourav aka Ankit from Hostel Daze, said, “Amir and Sangram have a fresh take towards direction and they give their actors a lot of freedom to improvise. Amir comes from a different sensibility than Sangram. While Sangram is more of a commercial entertainment guy, Amir is the opposite of that. Both are like chalk and cheese, yet, they work really well together. There is a synergy and an understanding between them. When Amir is on the monitor, Sangram will be on the floor and the mutual coordination between the two works amazingly well for them. They share a great bond, and we all actors and the team had a great time working with them. I think both of them are fantastic and I am happy to have this opportunity to work with them.”

Adding to Adarsh’s sentiments, Ahsaas Channa, who plays the role of Akansha, shared, “I love both of them and we go long way back. I’ve worked with them previously, and done sketches with both of them. So, they are my friends and it’s always awesome to work with friends who are also the director. I’m very comfortable with them. Their work smoothly blends and there is absolutely no chaos. They were so well organized and efficient, they knew what they were doing. Although this was their first show, they were like pros, they were champs.
